For over a decade, Barbara (“Bar”) has been helping develop leaders into highly effective, productive, and energizing executives. As an assessment expert, executive coach, and workshop facilitator, Bar has helped hundreds of high level leaders realize more fully their potential, and increase their value to their teams and their companies. Using her extensive training and experience with both individuals and groups, she helps raise motivation and productivity while at the same time increasing clarity, focus, and a sense of meaning in the workplace.
Using a variety of tools including cutting edge assessments and feedback instruments, Bar is known for developing good managers into great leaders, for turning executives around before they derail, and for integrating teams toward better collaboration, effectiveness and efficiency. She is practiced at significantly increasing persons’ leadership skills, raising their emotional quotients and in guiding them towards more successful styles and enhanced performance. Bar has supported executives through difficult performance conversations and has also helped many high-potentials successfully navigate promotions to reach their highest levels of achievement.

Described as a wise and trustworthy guide, Bar is a trained interpreter of a number of assessment instruments popular among Fortune 500 companies, including the Voices 360 (a KornFerry/Lominger International leader-effectiveness assessment), the Hogan Leadership Forecast Series (a leader personality instrument), and the Emergenetics Profile Assessment (a brain-dominance/thinking preference assessment useful in building strong and effective teams).
Bar holds a Master’s degree from Princeton Seminary in Princeton, NJ, and a Ph.D. from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
